Abstract & Paper Submission

You are cordially invited to submit academic research papers, case studies and industry presentations, as well as propose panel and workshop sessions regarding the management of engineered assets, i.e., equipment, machinery, industrial plant systems, facilities and infrastructure in sectors such as agriculture, energy, education, defense, health, manufacturing, transportation, resource extraction and processing, and utilities.

All abstracts and full-length papers will be subjected to blind-review processes. Accepted papers will undergo editorial review and published as “17th WCEAM Proceedings” by Springer. The WCEAM Proceedings are indexed in Scopus and EI Compendex.

Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their Abstracts in due time according to the Congress schedule. Once your Abstract has been accepted, you will need to upload the Full paper within the deadline given.

Submission of Abstracts and Full Papers 

Once your abstract has been accepted, you will need to upload the conference paper which should be between 6 and 12 pages (including references and appendices) using the available Template for Papers. Submitted contributions will be subjected to WCEAM review process conducted by the Technical Review Panel consisting of Fellows and Members of ISEAM.

Papers presented during the conference will be further subjected to an editorial review process in order to be selected for Springer publication.

Papers that are selected for Springer publication should be extended to 12 pages. The authors of selected papers will be notified accordingly. Also, it will be necessary to submit the signed consent to publish form (in PDF format).

Industry Submission

Industry presentations are welcome and presenters will be required to submit a PDF of their presentations by 28 April 2023 (no abstract or full paper is required). To submit an industry presentation, please attach it in PDF format and send it to 2023wceam@rmit.edu.vn

Workshop Proposals 

The WCEAM2003 Organizing Committee invites proposals or ideas for Workshops. Workshops will be open to all registered conference attendees without an additional charge. Topics of interest include all topics covered in the scope of the congress. If you have an idea, kindly share it with us.

Each workshop proposal must contain the following:

  1. Title of Workshop
  2. Names and Affiliations of Speakers
  3. Abstract (within one or two paragraphs)
  4. Intended Audience (one paragraph): Describe the background of tutorial attendees. Tutorials may range from basic, for attendees new to the field, to advanced topics for experts.
  5. Description: A statement giving clear motivation/justification about the topic to be presented and a comprehensive outline of the proposed content.

All tutorial proposals will first undergo peer review after submission. The Organizing Committee will make the final selection of tutorials to provide for variety in topics that best fits the conference theme

Student- industry Project Showcase

In addition to the presentation, there will be a student-industry project showcase happening during the Congress days (18-20 Oct 2023). The showcase is an opportunity for industry partners and capstone students to present their technologies and projects. To submit an inquiry, please email us at 2023wceam@rmit.edu.vn. The registration for the Showcase will be closed on 31 August 2023.
